The Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fair is a platform to showcase the latest technological achievements of local enterprises, academia and research institutions to generate business opportunities for industry partners. Besides, it provides an opportunity for participants to engage in dialogues and exchanges, as well as fostering a culture of innovative entrepreneurship among the local community.
The exhibition zone is themed “Innovation Journeys” and uses creative setting and immersive digital technologies to present a “experience it for yourself” innovation journey. The exhibits cover five key domains – outer space, land, deep sea, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology – to present the latest breakthroughs in technological applications.
A large number of visitors, both local and overseas, have come to the expo to enjoy the various exhibits. In particular, the Space and Aerospace Innovation Zone has attracted many visitors who have enjoyed a wonderful experience at the various exhibits.
Students from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) have also been captivated by the exhibits in the exhibition zones. They posed for pictures and beamed smiles as they viewed the various exhibits.
In addition, they listened to lectures and watched the scientific performances. A variety of science workshops were also held to let them learn more about the latest innovations.
As an important part of the Government’s effort to promote science and technology development in Hong Kong, the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) will continue to organise a series of innovation and technology-related events. InnoCarnival 2022 and Click2Match are two such events that encourage exhibitors, buyers and industry professionals to build connections and explore new market opportunities.
