Day 1: Arrival at Munnar 

On the day first, the guest will be picked up from the Cochin airport and will be taken to Munnar  which is almost 105 kms that is a 4hrs drive from Cochin. On the way to Munnar, the guests will  witness the lush greenery forests and the hills filled trees. The word Munnar basically means the  three rivers that is— Madhurapura, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. Munnar is regarded as one of  the best hill stations of Kerala which was established long back in the Western Ghats. 

There are numerous places to see around. At first, the guest will begin with the sight seeing of the  tea plantations which is the heart of Munnar. In the year of 1976, this plantations were taken over  by the TATA’s who are one of the biggest manufacturers of tea in India. Here, the guests will be  taken to show the tea factories where the entire process of tea making will be shown.  

Lunch will be in a South Indian Restaurant so that they can enjoy the flavours of south Indian  delicacies. 

In the evening, one can go for a walk to the Photo echo point. A picturesque place to see, explore  and settle down– here one can take snaps and explore the natural beauty. And at the end of the day,  the guests will be sent back to the hotel for their night stay. 

Day 2: Munnar Sight Seeing

As its said before, Munnar is a bounty of beauty; here one will see nature at its best! So, on the 2  day the guest will be taken to Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary or Eravikulam National Park. Here one can see various Indian Species including Panther, tigers, Gaur, Elephant, Sambar, Giant squirrel,  champak squirrel, Spotted deer and so on. A number of birds too can be seen! 

In the afternoon, after lunch the guest will taken to Mattupetty Lake, a man – made lake formed by  hydro – electricity dam (Mattupetty Dam). The only place to spend the night and have dinner is the hotel.

Day 3: Munnar (Departure) 

On the last day of the trip, the guest will be taken to witness the two wonderful waterfalls of  Munnar that us Nyayamakad and Attukul. The beauty of the whole place is just . One will feel the  calmness of this place and the peace that it bestows upon the visitors. 

After lunch, the last but not the least thing to be done is to explore Indo – Swiss Cattle Breading  Centre Cum Dairy Project. After sightseeing, the guest will be departing for their onward destination  and Munnar trip ends with this.
